Many Infallible Proofs–Part III (Acts 1:1-3)

Many people think that faith is believing in something for which there is no proof. In their view, faith must always be tinged with doubt, since people can never be sure that what believe is really true. In this sermon, Fr. Toms, using Jonathan Edwards’ Religious Affections as a guide, explains that true Biblical faith is always attended with certainty. Faith has nothing to do with probabilities or strong opinions. According to Scripture, when the Hoy Spirit opens our eyes to see the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, all the great spiritual truths in Scripture become so real that we know we can base our entire lives on the word of God and be absolutely assured of a glorious eternity in the presence Christ.
